Boston
My family and I went to Boston. We stayed in a hotel. I got a morning bun. Every morning my dad and I went on a walk. I saw cool fishing boats. I saw a fishing net. I saw a cool boat owned by the owner of the Red Sox. It was fun!

Spring
The wind blowing
So smoothly along
Your skin
Feels so good.
The grass flows
In the smooth air.
My mind is thinking of baseball.
I’m going to Niagara Falls on Saturday,
And I’m going to see the Rays versus the Blue Jays.
I wonder what team is going to win.
Spring is here!
God is a wonderful Creator!
Letter to Lewis and Clark
Dear Lewis and Clark,
How many buffalo did you shoot? What was the date that you started on your trip? How many people went on the trip with you? How many people died on the trip? How old was Seaman?
From,
Brady
Things to be Happy About Baseball
1. I like that there’s homeruns
2. And grand slams!
3. I like that there’s winners
4. And losers.
5. I love it when you just need 2 more runs to win and you have runners on 2nd and 3rd, and you smack it out of the park!
6. I love to slide into a base right before they get you out!

Mid Vermont’s Psalm of Praise
A Mid Vermont
Psalm of Praise
written by all
of the preschoolers
through sixth graders,
along with many teachers
and parents
God is like a strong wind,
Powerful and mighty.
God is like a soft wind,
Gentle and refreshing.
God is like an eraser,
for he erases all our sins.
God is like the full moon
because He is big and bright
and directs us
through dark places.
Jesus is like stairs
because He leads us to God
from earth to Heaven.
God is a turtle shell
because He is a strong protector
and He shelters us from harm.
God is a shade
by the way He protects us
from the world
and shades us
from those who may tempt us.
God wrote His love letter to us
with a permanent marker
so that it will never go away
and it won’t come off our hearts.
God is as creative as a potter making pots.
God is the Light of the world
because He lights our path
and leads us
while we are following Him.
Juniper
I am prickly.
I am trimmed into the shape of a geometric rectangle.
I hurt you when you touch me.
My needles are green with brown spikes.
I am brown and dark, like a giant bird’s nest inside of me.
I am a juniper.
The Flash of Snow
Plop
Sprinkle
Flash
Down goes the snow.
Crinkle
Flop
Cold
The snow crackles
Down the branches.
It glides through the air.
It falls to the crackly ground.
